Mark Sosin, Todd Staley, Flip and Diane Palot enjoy the FOWA conference.

It was a busy week at the Florida Outdoor Writer Association conference. What does everyone like most about the conference? The fellowship of course. An organization is only as good as the people. We are blessed in that regard. Flip Pallot was honored with FOWA’s, Lifetime Achievement award. He thanked the organization, and Mark Sosin for giving him his first assignment! What a nice surprise.

Despite his hefty schedule, Todd Staley also joined us. Todd, a wonderful writer is the fishing director at Crocodile Bay Resort in Costa Rica. (An official member of my “Sage Character” club too.) 🙂

River Ranch Resort, the world’s largest dude-ranch, were perfect hosts.
More to come.
Blessings, -tj

  1. Good stuff!

I think you should put out a book some day, entitled, Sage Characters, or at least devote a chapter within, to pay tribute to these many souls who make it all worthwhile. I love reading about them. Others would too.

  2. Todd Staley says:

Thanks TJ. It was great seeing you. There needs to be more people in this world like you. It would make life a lot more fun
